MTAS Christmas Meeting & End of Year Celebration Tuesday, 14th December 2021 The Macquarie Towns Arts Society will have their end of year Celebration Meeting on Tuesday, 14th December, 7.30pm at the Stan Stevens Studio! (Deerubbin Centre) Please bring something for Show & Tell. It can be an art or craft work you have done through the year or something of interest to show to the group. MTAS December Meeting & Christmas Party Tuesday – 10th December A reminder that Macquarie Towns Arts Society have their Meeting on the 10th December, 7.30pm at their new venue, Musson Lane in Richmond. This will be the last meeting for 2019 so they plan to celebrate for the festive season! MTAS Annual General Meeting & Guest Speaker Kath Von Witt – Hawkesbury Regional Gallery Tuesday – 10th September Macquarie Towns Arts Society will have their monthly meeting on Tuesday 10th September, and will also be their Annual General Meeting, followed by guest speaker Kath Von Witt representing the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery and what it is doing for art and our community. The Regional Gallery is a center for the Hawkesbury’s artistic and creative heritage while showcasing new and original exhibitions. Monthly Demonstration Meeting 9th July Richard Chao – Portraiture in Watercolour Reminding everyone that Macquarie Towns Arts Society will have Richard Chao to demonstrate Portraiture in Watercolour at their next monthly meeting on 9th July, 7:30pm at the Stan Stevens Studio, Deerubbin Centre, George St, Windsor. Richard is a Chinese artist living in Sydney, Australia. Born in a family of artists, he started drawing at the age of 5. He then pursued his art education in Xi’an Fine Arts College, Xi’an Fine Arts Academy, and finally obtained his Master of Art in Xi’an Jiaotong University. Richard also became a teacher
