Monthly Demonstration Meeting
with Bob Gurney – Water Based Oil Painting
7.30pm, 8th April 2025
The Macquarie Towns Arts Society welcomes Bob Gurney for their next monthly meeting on April 8th 2025, 7:30pm at the Stan Stevens Room, Deerubbin Center Windsor.
In his demonstration, Bob will showcase his expertise and demonstrate techniques for creating water based oil paintings.
Both members and non-members are welcome to join MTAS meetings to view an inspirational artist at work each month, as well as the opportunity to enjoy networking with like-minded art enthusiasts.
Cost is $5 at the door. Supper is provided and please remember to park outside due to early car park closure.
About Bob Gurney:
Bob Gurney is a well-respected, multi-award-winning artist whose work is collected both in Australia and overseas by private collectors and businesses. He is known for his strong skills in painting and is often invited to do private commissions, demonstrations, and workshops for art groups and community organisations.
Bob teaches art locally in his Camden studio, helping students develop their skills and confidence. For 15 years, until early 2012, he also ran his ArtCare Courier Service business, supporting artists with their framing and artwork transportation needs.
He has a deep passion for painting outdoors, known as “en plein air,” and enjoys capturing landscapes whenever he has the chance.
