Te Mahi Toi O Whakapapa Exhibition The Art of Genealogy 16th – 18th April 2020 Ngāi Tahu Iwi I Poihākena – a Sydney group for Māori living in Australia, is inviting everyone to attend the opening of their art exhibition, Te Mahi Toi O Whakapapa. The exhibition aims to help bring the community together and understand family connections through art.  John Bannon of the New Zealand High Commission will be present to help with the opening. Photo: Carl Warner The Hawkesbury Regional Gallery invites you to Legacy: Reflections on Mabo. A travelling exhibition presented by Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts and toured by Museums & Galleries Queensland. It is an exhibition that showcases the reflections of various Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists on Eddie Koiki Mabo and his legacy, the Native Title Act. Hawkesbury Regional Gallery: The Wonders of Wandin Valley 13th Dec 2019 to 2nd Feb 2020 The Wonders of Wandin Valley exhibition is still open for viewing at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery until 2nd February 2020. It is a wonderful exhibit showcasing commemorative objects, location shoots and photos from the award-winning Australian television show, A Country Practice.  The Hawkesbury is known to be the place where most of the show’s scenes were filmed – from establishments, farms to various properties! There are other artworks you can also view from Liam Benson, Julia Drouhin & Sanne Kok-Drouhin, Freya Jobbins, Simon Mee and
