Open Day is on Wednesday 4th March – 10am to 4pm!

Come join Macquarie Towns Arts Society at their next Paint Along Open Day for members and guests at the new venue, Musson Lane, on Wednesday 4th March from 10am – 4pm.

Bring your materials for some painting, sketching, watching art DVD’s, and crafting.

The new address: Unit 2, 1 Musson Lane, Richmond, NSW 2753. 

Morning and afternoon tea is provided but bring your own lunch.

Mingle and create with like minded art enthusiasts.

Share your interests while learning more about art and the artists in our area.

Te Mahi Toi O Whakapapa Exhibition
The Art of Genealogy
16th – 18th April 2020

Ngāi Tahu Iwi I Poihākena – a Sydney group for Māori living in Australia, is inviting everyone to attend the opening of their art exhibition, Te Mahi Toi O Whakapapa. The exhibition aims to help bring the community together and understand family connections through art. 

John Bannon of the New Zealand High Commission will be present to help with the opening.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Hawkesbury City Council will attend as well. 

Opening Date: Thursday 16th April
Time: 7pm
Venue: Richmond School of Arts, Murray Wing, Richmond.
The exhibit will continue until 18th April.

Reminding all of our New Resin Art Workshop
This Saturday 29th February 2020! 

Come and join us this Saturday 29th February for another fun-filled day doing Resin Art.

In this workshop you will be introduced to different basic techniques of using, mixing and colouring resin to produce gorgeous, glossy, flowing designs. 

The medium is safe and easy to use, a  wonderfully creative art to get amazing results every time.
It can also be used to enhance and decorate many different surfaces and items such as art canvases, cheese boards, coasters, trays and furniture.  Take home your artworks to decorate your walls or give away as gifts for your family & friends.
