Macquarie Towns Arts Society Children’s After School Art Classes Annual Exhibition & Awards    MTAS is excited to announce the Children’s After School Art Classes annual exhibition will be open from 10am – 4pm, 11th & 18th December. The awards will be presented at 2.30pm on Saturday, 11th December. All After school Art students will receive certificates plus 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes will be awarded for Observational Drawing (sponsored by Jocelyn Maughan & MTAS) and General Art (Sponsored by John Shields & Richmond Art Supplies). Afternoon tea will be provided. Covid practises will be in place. All family members are invited

Hawkesbury Art Prize New Entry Date 15th October 2021   After careful consideration of evolving Covid policy changes, The Hawkesbury Art Prize Committee have changed the dates for entry and the Exhibition. The Hawkesbury Art Prize 2021   A reminder to all local Artists that the Hawkesbury Art Prize closes at 5:00pm on Wednesday, 8th September 2021. The Opening Event and Awards will be on Saturday, 9th October 2021. It will be opened by Federal Member for Macquarie, Susan Templeman. The Hawkesbury Art Prize Inc. is a non-acquisitive art award originally established in 2011 operating as a not for profit event run by an incorporated committee of dedicated volunteers. Hawkesbury City Council – Waste 2 Art 2019

Hawkesbury City Council’s ‘Waste 2 Art’ Competition is still open for primary school age children! This is a great activity for kids to take part in with artworks being exhibited at the Hawkesbury Central Library during Government Week from Monday, 29th July ’til Sunday, 4th August 2019. Waste 2 Art Competition focuses on 3Rs of waste hierarchy: reuse, reduce and recycle to specifically show how students can give waste a new purpose by transforming it into a creative artwork. The artwork may be either 2D or 3D and must follow the competition guidelines.
